Family Nurse Practitioner
Marie Figueroa, FNP, is an experienced family nurse practitioner, bringing care to all ages at Magic Valley Medical Care Clinic and MedSpa in Pharr, Texas. Marie received her Bachelor of Science ICC from La Salle University Ozamiz in Ozamiz City in the Philippines. She completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Medina College-Ozamiz in Ozamiz City and her Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner at Herzing University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She began her career at The Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro Sr. Medical Center in Ozamiz before heading to the States as a medical-surgical nurse at The Peaks, A Senior Living Community in Flagstaff, Arizona. At Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, Wyoming, Marie continued her work as a medical-surgical nurse, providing expert patient care and working with highly-trained doctors and physicians. She joined the post-anesthesia care unit as a nurse at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas, and then Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas, where she worked in the neuro medical-surgical unit. Marie provided comprehensive support at Pediatric Plus Clinic in Alamo, Texas as a family nurse practitioner before continuing as a nurse practitioner at Trumen Physicians & Associates in Houston, Texas. Then, she returned to Knapp Medical Center as a staff medical-surgical nurse in the telemetry and ICU units. After her time on staff as a travel nurse for Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center in Sherman, Texas, and Centura Castle Rock Adventist Hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado, Marie joined Loyal Source Government Services as an advanced practice registered nurse, treating people crossing the United States borders. Marie is thrilled to care for new and existing patients at Magic Valley Medical Care Clinic and MedSpa.
